1st met Robin while attending Lincoln School back in the day ..
She was bright student and on point I recall with her studies. May have said hello to her once since we did not go to classes together at Lincoln. Robin as we most  know went on to be a Top Fashion Model  after High School.  She made a very  successful career of it and lived in Italy for most of her life. Was able to meet up with Robin at our High School  Reunion in 2014 at the Langhamn Mixer. We met  again at Dana Miller's Memorial Dinner in 2015 in Toluca Lake area  and at our All Tiger All Alumni Picnic in 2017. She was delightful. I'm glad I got to know her after not really knowing Robin during elementary, jr hs and HS. The last time I met with Robin was for dinner last year Dec. 12th in So Pas at Mike and Ann's Restaurant on Mission Ave in So Pas. Robin was helping care for her parents who still lived in So Pas. Robin was beautiful ,stunning as always and had a great spirit and sense of humor to go with her wit and charm.  Like the rest of the Tiger Family  I was shocked and saddended to hear that Robin had passed away.  May her flight be amazing on her new journey and may God Bless her ..sending prayers and love to her family ...

Oh honey, honey. What fun we had. While you will be remembered for your beauty and elegance, I will remember you sneaking into the house, your other home, through the dog door on Ashbourne! We had long bike rides laughing through San Marino, transatlantic phone calls (when what time we called made a difference!), and it was all ways intriguing to hear of your adventures while you lived in both Paris and Rome! Speaking fluently in both languages, I smile at how difficult you found Spanish in high school. You were simply ready to fly. So darlin', fly. You will be in my heart and I'd be happy if you wanted to join me on my adventures. "You are loved more than you can imagine."

"Today was wonderful! It was fun and I too had the feeling that we were meeting for lunch on Friday at Babette's as if ithad been our custom for the last 40 years!"  Thank you Robin for re-connecting in the Eternal City where we both found ourselves after - yes 40 years - sharing our stories in several languages over local cuisine followed by walks where invariably you would meet a friend or an acquaintance.  What a life you lived - something out of Hollywood.  From Health Commissioner (and I was your campaign manager and yes - you won!) to model to muse - but always Robin with wit, charm and style.  I am missing your humor and political commentary - and of course lunch at Babette's!  Rest in peace dear Robin.

I didn't know Robin the way her friends did.  She lived down the street.  It pleases me to think that she made so much of her life.  By the comments, she obviously enriched her friends' lives.  It saddens me to think that news, such as this, will become more common as the days go by.  I hope all your lives are blessed and that you are wise enough to be grateful on a daily basis.  I may not be wise, but I am certainly grateful.
